A nice weekend is over :-)

Friday the Sørheim was over for our weekly pizza :-) Thanks for joining us, a cozy Friday just relaxing and watching TV after :-)

On Saturday the "Bighills" where here on Indian cuisine -I made Anu's Kerala Roasted Chicken with Raita and Naan bread in the baking oven. It tasted delicious :-) If I can say that myself :-) hihi - Gave me really good memories back to Baku :-)

"Winter fair" at school :-) Second hand sale where we ended up with nearly half of the sale :-(

Lisa was soo happy. She bought so much.... you can't imagine. It didn't cost much so she got much for 10 USD :-) Toooo much of things we do not need :-) Anyway, it was fun and the kids were soooo happy! :-)

Anna surprised me with home made breakfast on Saturday. Fantastic :-)

We miss you Dona, hope to see you here in summer :-)

Week 5 - Lars' class had performance at school :-)

Every Friday one class have a performance in the beginning of the day. This Friday it was Lars' class turn. Many proud parents were watching and they were sooooo good :-)

Trip to the beach with the Svensen family :-)

A great day at the beach :-) It was a bit cold, but around the fireplace it was good and warm :-)

Week 3 and 4 - Busy weeks :-)

Its been a while since I've been blogging now :-( I'll try to be better and update once a week again... but you know, its been hard since Dona left and we have to organaize all the logistics ourself :-) Anyway, the kids have been great, they vacumm clean every day, take out of the dishwasher and tidy their room. Our "dinner menu - schedule" is still active and we do the shopping once a week! So organized :-)

Except from that I bike to job twice a week, 30km each day :-) Anna and me go to karate lessons twice, and hole family for swimming once a week, so can't complain about that.

Kick off at work with some "local heroes". A great evening where the red team won the choir competition. I wonder who was singing in front? :-)

This Saturday Svein was in charge of the dinner. He made Lemon marinated scampi with creme brulee for dessert. Tasted very good :-)

Baking time. Lars, Emil and Lisa made some good pastry with ham and cheese.

Week 2 - Bye Bye Dona! :-)

It's been a hard week. We have tried to get use to being alone without our "live-in grandmum"..... Its hard, I believe we just have to get her back again. If we havn't scared here away of course....? :-) Time will show.

Pizza party with 12 collegues. A great party with pizza on the menu both for main and nighcap! :-) Thanks for coming, we had the first party on the new kitchen, and it worked out very well! :-)

OMG, all these fantastic presents I got, I'm amazed. Special sexy dishwashing gloves with ring etc. etc, apron, hat, salt and pepper shakers, tea and coffee boxes and a Georg Jensen vase.

Jonas 1 år idag!

Hipp hurra for Jonas som blir 1 år idag. Ja tenk ett år er gått siden jeg satt her på jobben og ble oppringt av Atle for at noe var på gang. Jeg gav beskjed til sjefen at jeg måtte avgårde for jeg skulle delta på en fødsel, og vips etter noen timer så var jeg tilbake igjen. Så stolt etter å ha deltatt på tidenes fødsel, en flott gutt kom til verden, Vibeke gjorde ett godt stykke arbeid, jeg fikk klippe navlestrengen, vi lo godt av den "flerkulturelle staben", atle og vibeke ble stolte foreldre, og jeg ble ei stolt tante som fikk min livs opplevelse realisert. Livet e herligt - tiå fyge gitt...... :-)

Welcome 2011 - Week 1 :-)

A relaxing week. All the activities has not started yet, so its been a good week. Unfortunately we are counting down thill Dona leave next Saturday. Hope to see her again soon!

We spoke with Zaur on skype as well this week. It was great to see him again and talk with him on skype. We really really miss our time we had together in Baku. Hopefully we will come back as planned after 5 years. so within a couple of years we're maybe back! :-)

Dona feeds Lisa, OMG she is spoiled :-) A trip to Laland, Jonas is 1 year on Thursday! Times fly, only a year since I was so lucky to join the birth:-) My little cute! :-)
