Going to "Tjørnøy" - an island in Ryfylke :-)

Saturday noon we drove to Finnøy to meet Family Emmerhoff. They have recently bough a cabin at "Tjørnøy"! They picked us up and we drove for approx. 10 minutes to "their island". A fantastic place with the most beautiful view you can ever imagine! :-)

Finally we manage to convince Lars to cut a little bit "for example" on his head. But only on the forehead and little bit on both sides. Just so he can see out! :-) Beth using a tiny small nail scissors. It was MUCH better! :-)

A cozy evening. The kid was so happy they didn't go to bed before after midnight! :-)

On a boattrip on Sunday we passed our old family cabin. My grandparents cabin that was sold some years ago..... :-(

Thanks for a great trip. We would love to come back. Lars and Anna was so lucky that they stayed until Tuesday, but we had to go home to work and kindergarten :-)

Week 28 - Summer dropped by two days :-)

What a great afternoon. Packing some icecream and walking to our nearest beach Viste (5 minutes to walk) and relaxing in the sun. First day in a very very very long time that it felt like it was summer! What a great feeling! :-) Svein was working, Gunn Jorunn was shopping so it ended up with Jan Ove, me and the kids :-)

Relaxing time, I'll promise you, Lars was quiet for exactly 2o seconds :-)

Friday we had barbeque on the terrace. Olav joined us too. They insisted in eating Corn and meat! :-) And so they had... :-)

Lars preparing the bike he has sold to Nicolai. He sold his old, and bought another second hand bike from a collegue of mine! Good deal! :-) Lars paid the amount in between with money he got from his birthday! :-)

Week 27 - Ducklings......

Another great week is over. Unfortunately too much rain, but except from that its been a good week. I've been biking 4 times to work, and the kids has been with grandparents some of the days. They've had so much fun. This week ended with a good dinner at inlaws serving our traditional meal "komla" :-) It tasted delicious! :-)

Anna found 3 duclings in Lenes garden on Friday. They were soo cute you cant imagine. But we wouldn't keep them. According to the animal shelters it was very difficult to keep them. They needed nearly 40 degree C, food every 2. hour etc. etc. Anna was in heaven! It was hard to realize that she needed to give them away. But when they came to pick them up and she spoke with them it was ok. She understood that this was the best for the ducklings! :-)

Fam. Auestad was "home" from Baku on summer holiday. It was nice to see them again, and we had a cozy afternoon on the balcony. Luckily it was not raining this afternoon! Its unbelivable! :-)
