Week 37 - A trip to Arboret :-)

Finally we've got our "life back". Now we can consentrate on doing nice things in the weekends instead of fixing at home! :-) Lene suggeted to go on a trip together, and that was a very good idea. We were lucky with the weather so no rain at all. The kids ran around in the forrest, shouting and jumping over the water. So full of energy. Even Lars was happy! :-)

Grrr, they found some mices as well..... Creapy :-( But the kids loved them and though it was great. "They are soooooo cute" :-)

Can it be better? Champagne and good company? Unfortunately Svein couldn't join us because he was working, so we had to open the kitchen ourself. Can't wait to have a grand opening of the pizzaoven when The Polk's arrive! :-) But the bad news is...... without pizza, because it still has to dry a couple more weeks to make pizza, but eventhough, we have a backup plan with a menu that can take your breath away...... wait and see! :-)

Week 36 - Anna and Victoria making cupcakes

They were the first that baked in the new kitchen. All by themselves they started and made some delicious cupcakes/muffins. :-)

While mum is painting and Lars and dad are at the gym the girls collect prunes from the threes :-) There are just sooooooo much you can't imagine. Our hole freezer is full soon! :-)

Week 35 - Trying to finish the kitchen :-)

Happy withthe result! :-) Only some few things inside now, but we have started using it :-)

Soooooo much prunes in the garden, they taste delicious :-)

After a hard days work it was good with a great meal - Beef, garlic potatoes, broccoli and mushrooms. Our first meal in the new kitchen! :-)

Working all the time with painting outside, inside, moving things, started renovating the living room, trying to tidy all over, being outside in the nice weather, wash and dry clothes/beddings, making food etc. etc. Yehh, I mean its going to be a looooooooooooooooooong time until next time we start with renovation again. And I mean it! :-) Cross my heart! :-)

Week 34 - Jesper 7 years :-)

Lars slept over at Jesper's house (his cousin) from Friday to Saturday, and celebrated Jespers birthday on Saturday. (Happy Birthday Jesper) :-) Off course he didn't want to go home. It was so much more fun to be there and not together with his parents that work in the kitchen all the time! :-)

Mum and Alf helped us outside and started with moving things back to the kitchen again. Puhh, things are getting better! :-) Ordered pizza in the evening! Sorry, but we still have to wait some more weeks for our own stove to dry! :-(On Sunday Svein was home working and I took the kids to the beach. Emil and Vetle (cousin's) slept over at our house and we had some fun hours at a beach nearby (Sande stranda). The weather was absolutely great! :-)

Bee moves...

Then a new chapter of Fam. Hellands busy days starts. Home alone without any help.... Grrrrrr.
We wish Bee good luck on her journey, we hope she will stay in Norway, but if she has to go home to Thailand again we hope to see her back one time! :-) Thanks for a great year, with a lot of good food! :-)


We will miss you Bee!
