Week 30 - Back at work again....

Picking Raspberries! The kids liked it very much and they picked one box each. Big tasty raspberries! But in the freezer for jam and smoothies! :-) Jummy! :-)

Another week in the kitchen!

We were so excited when we came home today to look at the kitchen. What have they done, what have they NOT done, etc. etc. I think I have to start work late tomorrow to have a discussion with the workers to agree about next weeks progress :-) Anyway, we are getting closer to the target. Later this week they will start with the walls, and hopefully next week we can do the floors! :-) Dad comes home then, and I hope to get some help :-)

Is probably a bit difficult to see how its going to be, but its about 40m2 on 2 levels :-)

They still need alot outside. Some new windows on the corner and also the wood on the walls and the stone on the roof! :-) Hopefully everything looks much better within August! :-)

Happy Birthday to Svein turning 41 today! :-)

We had a good breakfast, we song and he got presents. :-) Can't complain :-) even he did not get some extra equipment or gadgets to his "Soda stream" machine! :-)

Holiday is over and we start work again tomorrow. Hmm..... I'm happy that we still have some days left we can take in September when fam. Polks arrives from USA.

Week 29 - Travelling to Lyngdal :-)

About 2,5 hours driving south west you find Lyndal. My mum's work own a cabin we are allowed to use. So here we go again, happy as can be..... :-)

It was nice to see them again, and Lisa was so exited to cuddle and kiss Jonas, and ofcourse... "Hola" had to join as well! :-)

Measure-job at the kitchen! :-)

Immediately when we came home from Rome I had to measure in the kitchen to see how everything suppose to be in there. One thing is the drawings, but unfortunately it doesn't allways looks the same "live"!... and we got some surprises.... Hmmm, where do we put the "island" in the room? Well, it helps with good a friend and a bottle of redwine! :-) - 02:30 all challenges were solved! :-)

Can't wait to get it finished! :-)

Silje also named the shelf under the kitchen window. Of course its the "tapas shelf" - perfect for serving tapas! :-) Really look forward to show everyone! :-) Thanks Silje for being so creative! :-)

Week 27-28 - Rome here we come! :-)

Finally we are here! Joining Family Scarborough in Italy!

It was so nice to see them again, and the kids were so exited.

Family Scarborough's appartment, a great place with a lot of space!

The last day in Rome we stayed at a hotell down town, joining the pool, eating at the Hard Rock Cafe and a visit to the famous Trevi Fountain in the centre of Rome.

One week in Rome is over, we've had a fantastic memorable week together with fam. Scarborough. We are so thankful for taking us around in Rome, showing us Colusseum, The Vertican and everywere around in the city. We will sure come back, this was a fantastic town, why have we never been to Italy before? :-)

Week 26 - Various! :-)

I have to admit, our son is quite creative. He made this boat by himself with just looking around in the house to use for making it. He used it in the tub after. So happy! :-)

OMG, with 11 courses I'll tell you we were "quite" full. The food tasted delicious, and Edvin did a fantastic job with all the food.

Have a great taste of homemade "smorch" :-) Last time we had it was in Baku with "The Polk's" :-)
