Week 35 - Started work :-)

Juhhuu - I'm a business women, working 08:00 - 16:00. Or actually, to reach job I leave straight after 7 then I avoid que. Depend, but takes around 15-30 minutes to job :-) It was nice to see all my collegues again. They have been so friendly, I really really appreciate it. I have to admit this week has been quite busy when you need to pick up from nursery before 16:30.... Puhh, it has been long days for her at nursery this week. Well, she likes it and are not complaining at all, so it will be the same pattern this week. Routine, routine, routine! :-)

Except from that I continue with my 5K program. I'm finish with week 6 now, but still I cant understand that within 2 weeks I will be able to run 5K. The race Ruth wanted me to join was this weekend. I'm so happy that she didn't signed me in. Maybe next year, if I continue with running as I do now! So I have not given up, and thats a progress! :-)

On Saturday we celebrated Jens & Kristins 40 years birthday. A great party with good food and liquid. Not home before after 04:00 - last people out! :-)

Except from working every day we continue working in the afternoon. On Wednesday this week we get the shipment, so quite much preparation before that arrives. And also, on Friday Bee (our aupair) comes from Thailand. We really look forward to meet her and get to know her better! :-)

This weekend we went to Bergsagel, Alf's familys cabin around an hour from home. We picked some plums and feeded the swanes.

Straight after work and organizing with the the other kids, Anna and myself drove approx. 1 hour out of Stavanger to a nice place called Alsvik. We were 36 people in total and we had a great day/night together. The only bad thing was actually the weather. It was raining the whole night, and a lot of wind - it really felt like autumn. Anyway, some of the kids had a swim even it was under 10 degree C. :-( grrrrrrr.

We rented canoes and paddled around in the lake. Nice place, its a pity we cant afford a cabin in this area, way tooooo expensive! :-(

Week 34 - Various

Lisa and Kajsa at grandparents - Svein rolling at Ikea. Since we sold many things we had to buy new again. And now with new system - we had to pick everything ourselves. 3 trolleys, so quite much! :-)

Around one of the lakes nearby the is a "passifier three". For kids that do not want to give their "soska/passifier" to santa claus or someone else you can hang them on this three. Decorative as well! :-)

"Kongeparken" a great amusement park nearby

Sveins brother with family invited us to join them to the "Kingpark" :-) It was a great day, and we were quite dizzy in betweeen all merry-go-round :-) All except Lisa (she was too young) went to the chocolate factory as well. They made their own chocolate and was so exited!

Anna and Lars started school - Lisa nursery

Nursery is only 100 meters from the beach. Nice location and only 2 years old.

She is very proud and likes to go to nursery. She is very comfortable both with the othere kids and the adults.

Summer Party at "The Haaves" house!

First we joined The Polks party directly on skype from Baku and then we continued our own! :-) Thanks for arranging it. It was so nice to see and speak to everyone again! :-)

Directly from Egypt with new Beduin tent, they invited friends over for their annual event! :-) Smoking shisha in the tent, meeting friends, dancing, eating fantastic food and listen to good music. A great combination that made us stay until early morning! :-)

Even our own "Hare Cristna" visited us! :-)

A great success this year as well! :-).... although Svein had hangover until Sunday evening! :-) hihi

Week 33 - To "Sirdalen" to sleep in a Caravan! :-)

Everyone was excited when we left Stavanger Thursday afternoon to drive to my sisters Caravan nearly 2 hours by car from home. We had a great day, and the kids cooperated quite well! :-) We were 6 kids and 2 adult in total! :-) The weather was nice and nearly sun all the time. Can it be better?

View to the site - We met Kamilla from Baku. It was so nice to see her again. She was in her cabin close to us so we picked her up and she stayed with us for a couple of hours :-)

Lunch time, quite unhealty / french fries with cheese! :-) - A wee break! :-)

Before we went home on Friday we picked around 9 liters with blueberry. They kids liked it every much! :-) For luch we made fire and grilled chicken and sausage! A great trip!

Jesper (our nephew), Lars, Anna and Lisa picked plums from our trees. And the best of all, they tasted delicious! :-) They were so happy, they even used the ladder to reach to the top of the tree! :-) Now we have 2 big plastic bags in the freezer for pie! :-)

On Friday we got a surprise in the mailbox. We had to run to the post office (no driver to pick it up) :-) and quess what? A package from Kelly sent from USA! WOW. We was so exited that we couldn't wait until we came home. Lisa was in 110 :-) Mum just as Mia has! :-) New pink sparkling shoes. Can it be better? :-) NO! Lars got some Star Wars toys and Anna got a coin purse and some earrings. She has not seen them yet because she is not home before next week. But I told her and she was so exited. She said immediately! "To me.... oh, they are so kind!" :-) And Lars he has played with it aswell and said thank you very much!

We had to go home and find a small princess dress that Lisa could try together with the shoes. A bit to big, but Lisa was so proud. Just as Evie has! :-) She says that to everything. Just as, just as..... :-) She is just soooo funny! :-)

We really hope to see you here in Norway once. And to you Nonna, you are welcome with or without Kelly, you know that! :-) But on one condition, that you teach me how to make a good american cake - hihi - just kidding, you are welcome without conditions! :-) Call us on Skype one day that would be great! :-) CU :-)



And except from that I continue with my training program for the 5k running. On Monday I'm in week 4 :-) Improving, but still a loooong way to go! :-)

No signs of the shipment. But we are getting closer and closer to the target, so give us a couple of days and everything will be ready before the shipment arrives!

Week 31 and 32 - Back in business again! :-)

Lisa loves to cuddle with granddad! - Emil picked some flowers to me. The biggest bucket ever! :-)

Kristin and me went to town on Friday to celebrate Jens turning 40 years! :-) We had a nice evening with good food at Sting and 2 fantastic strawberry Margaritas before we went home. To save some money I took the bus home. It was really boring even it took only 20 minutes. Its hard to be so spoiled that you are used to call Zaur and he will bring you safe home, and now I had to join a crazy busdriver that drove soooooo fast! :-) Puhh, and the worse thing is..... I have to get used to it, this is the real life now! :-)

PS: Look at my great shoes! I wear Kelly's old shoes as often as possible. I simply love them! :-)

Emil and Lars went to football school this week. Sorry to say but Lars "give a shit" about football, and he said it was really boring..... so no new David Beckham from Stavanger! :-( Emil was more interested than Lars so I think he will continue playing. Svein was just laughing, he got it probably from him. No interest at all! :-) Maybe we can ask if he would like to start on ballet or something like that? :-) hihi

Week 30 - We went to our cabin in the mountain :-)

Mum, Alf, Lars, Anna and Ingrid went on Sunday and Lisa, Emil, Vetle (my nephews) and myself went on Wednesday morning. In our new car with integrated dvd's the trip was quiet and without any trouble. It was fantastic! :-)

We had a great week. Svein came up the following weekend and stayed for 3 days. A bit grumpy because he had to drive the old Ford Mondeo, but anyway, I was driving around with kids, so no question! :-) hihi

We went to a great zoo an hour to drive, and the kids was so exited. We was not very lucky with the weather during this week. It was more or less rain the whole week. :-( Anyway, when the sun showed up a couple of times we manage to paint a bit and also change some materials on the roof. Allways some maintenance. I thought I was going to rest from painting, but so wrong I could be! :-)
