Hipp Hurray for Svein Terje - 40 years today! :-)

We have invited friends over for coffee, tea and cakes at noon today. Unfortunately we woke up an it was raining, raining and raining. Upps, what do we do with all the people inside in the house, no furnitures and not finished anyplace. Well, we have to find a solution! :-)

Anyway, 40 years "far" thats no problem for you. You look fantastic young anyway :-) Have a great day!

A Sunday trip around "Hålandsvannet" :-)

A small lake near where we live is nice for a Sunday trip with the kids. Its about 8 km around and the kids like it very much. It was Lisa's first trip sitting in back with me! Our nephews and Lars biked as fast as they could without complaining. Even up the hills! Must be their new bikes. Especially Vetle on his small 2 weels bike. For him it was like two times around, the wheels was so small! :-)

Today he got an e-mail from Sebastian and he was so happy to hear from him! :-) Sebastian said he had been in Bulgaria to see some relatives so he wanted to know where Bulgaria was on the map! Here it is. The only thing we need to do now is to put needles on each place we have been! :-) Mum has not decided yet how she wants to mark the "Atlantic crossing" by sailboat! :-)

Pizza at family Myhres home! :-)

We had a great evening on Friday. Together with some other friends of Janne and Morten we was invited for homemade pizza. In the own (exactly as we are going to buid in the new kitchen). Anna was with us, and we have not seen her since. She thought it was so nice to see Victoria again that she wanted to stay longer! :-)

Approx. 2 minutes in the own, and the pizza is ready - Delicious! :-)

Week 29 - The kids are never home anymore! :-)

Martha and Børge invited us for pizza together with family Emmerhoff. A great evening, and the kids fell asleep one by one! :-) Even it doesn't look like it here! :-)

Lisa helps Svein using the screwdriver - Eating scrimps at my sisters house in sun. Fantastic! :-)

Visiting old grandmum, she was not in the mood today, but at least she got some fresh air! :-)

Having a walk around where we live. Its quite nice to near 3 minutes from the sea where you can walk, and walk as long as you want.... or run for some! :-)

Vibeke, Atle, Ingrid, Alf and grandmum came and visit us in the basement. We ate strawberry with cream. Delicious! :-)

We had a great barbeque at family Storhaug in the week as well. It was so nice to see them again! :-)

Except from this we have been working and working at home. Finally Lars's room is ready now, so he is sleeping in his own room! So proud! :-) That is thank to inlaws + Mum and Alf that helped us with babysitting, painting making curtains etc. etc. Anna's room so also nearly finished. Only need to polish the floor! :-) But the kids are never home. They sleep everywere, so excited to see their friends/relatives again! :-)

Week 28 - Working inside and fun outside :-)

New trampoline in the garden. Juhhuuu. Guro and Linnea was here on Saturday to play with Anna. They jumped and tried to have a swim in the submarine pool. But unfortunately there was to many holes in the submarine so all the air went out again. What a shame! :-)

On Saturday we painted many ceilings in the house. Inlaws helped us allot so we manage to complete painting in 6 rooms. Fantastic! It's so nice when its white and not grey! :-)

This week we will continue with the walls! :-)

By the way - excercised 5 times this week! :-) Can't complain! :-)

As we did in Baku....."on the go".....

Can it be better? Silje called on Thursday afternoon and invited us down for grilled fish (Kveite) and a glass of wine! Svein stayed home with the kids so I went alone :-) It tasted delicious! I'm so happy that some of our neighbours are like our Baku neighbours! :-) This is just the beginning............ :-)

Gunn Jorunn invited us for "lapper" :-)

Norwegian "lapper" is similar to small pancakes - with fresh strawberry jam! jummy, jummy! This is one of the thing I really missed of being away from home! :-)

Svein was so happy when I told him that I missed Gunn Jorunns "lapper" - at least there is one thing you miss with "home"! :-)

Today it was Annas turn to get a new bike! :-)

We went to Sokn to buy a second hand DBS bike for her. She have got 2 new bikes before so this time we decided to by from someone else. The bike looks very nice, and it was same brand as she wanted just another color. And of course 1/4 of the price! :-) But in the end she was very happy too. A win/win situation for everyone! :-) She used her own savings, so she was so proud! :-)

Lars got new bike today!

For all the money he got for his birthday Lars bought a new bike today! :-) So proud, and exactly like nephew Emil has. Coolest bike ever! :-) He biked down to Marte immediately to show the new bike! :-) Hope Mia enjoy Lars's old bike in Baku! :-)

Uke 27 - Cutting and fixing in the garden and inside....

After many days inside we decided to work outside on Saturday. A great sunny day! We worked 4 generations to complete the garden, even great grandmum helped! :-) Svein was so happy to start all his machines again! :-) Starting his chainsaw made him good! :-) And Sunday we removed everything we cutted, so now its looks very nice again. Our land is 1100 m2, so its quite big! :-) We bought some new flowers to put outside the door, and that made it cozy again.

Lisa was so happy when she found Lars's old tractor. She wanted to take Hola for a ride. Exactly as Colby has, she said! :-)

Everyone was happy to see Marte again, especially Lars.

Tussi, Emils cat get her Saturday snack. A cute kitten! :-)

Week 26 - Vienna here we come

We had 4 great days in Vienna on the way home. No shopping at all, just tourist attractions, quided tours and many many things. It was great to stop on the way home. Even we had toooooo much luggages! We had to pay 350 manat in overweight. This was a bargin, since the guy started with 27 kilo overweight and ended up for paying for 15 kilo. But it was expensive enough :-) We put nearly all the luggages on storage on the airport and picked it up on the way home again. Then we fixed a bit and put more in the hand-luggage, and suddenly she did not complain anymore and we did not have to pay anything. Puhh..... Hmm, If you knew that I should have done some shopping in Vienna..... Now it was tooooo late! :-)
