I never thought it would be so busy that blogging was not on my priority list anymore?.... :-( Anyway, I am back and hopefully I will be able to update once a week from no on. Give a summary of the week every Sunday is my aim...So lets cross fingers, that I keep up with my promises :-)
So what have happend with The Hellands from all these 11 weeks. Well, we had 3 great weeks with our american friends in Florida. over a week with The Jacobs in Tampa, we drove to Disney World in Orlando and met The Polks, and stayed with them for nearly 2 weeks in Orlando, Miami Beach and on Cruise. A fantastic holiday, and great to meet up with our Baku friends again. Thanks alot for spending time with us, memories forever! :-)
School started for the kids in the end of August, and since that the weeks have flown away. Lars goes to both handball and football and are busy three times a week. Except from that he is addicted to "Minecraft" and plays as often as he can. He has quite good routines with homework, and normally he is finished with homework when we come home from work.
Anna has starting horse riding. Once a week she has one hour riding lesson on a stable nearby - She really like this, and she will continue next year. Same is with her art class. Once a week she goes on art class where she learn to draw and to paint ++++ She is so creative you can't imagine. I am happy that she has not inherited the drawing skills from me.....
Lisa does not goes to any activity. Going to kindergarten is enoght, but she say she will start with handball when she starts school next August. Time will show... :-)
Svein Terje has quit his job in Baker, and are now working for the competitor Schlumberger. He started in the beginning of September, and he feels it was ok to move on now. Worked in Baker for 16,5 years, and about time to do something else. Not completely different, but at least new company, and new people. He work as an account manager in his field. This week he is in Houston on a course, so we're "home alone" :-)
I still work as an logistics manager at Teamtrade. A busy 100% job, with responsibility for 7 great boys at our warehouse. Quite challenging from time to time, but at the same time very rewarding.
In the weekends there are normally plans, we either travel away, or we do activity at home. The last family attraction is "Geocashing". It fantastic, and we have had so many nice experience with this new family activity. It is world wide, and we really look forward to go geocashing in other countries too. Until now we have logged 38 cashes - can't wait to look for more, and to use our new GPS! :-)
