Celebrating Anna, Emil and Lene's birthday

Tuesday this week we had a big birthdayparty with 12 kids and 8 adults.

Lasagne, Salad and 3 cakes tasted very good. We forgot the calories for some hours! :-)

One cake for Anna 10 years and one cake for Emil 7 years.

Look forward to new kitchen, then everyone can eat at the same time! :-) Can't wait! :-)

Week 5 - To Sirdalen with "The Bighills" :-)

Another week has passed, and this weekend we planned to drive to Sirdalen (nearly 2 hours driving) up in the mountain with familiy Storhaug. We had a great weekend, the weather was fantastic, the atmosphere in the appartment was excellent and the food and wine tasted perfect. What more can you ask for? Well, Lisa was not in very good "shape" she had fever on Sunday, but except from that everything was great. We stopped at "Byrkjedal" on our way home on Sunday for dinner and for buying some candles at the candle factory.

So cozy and sharming, Jens and Svein really really enjoyed it to..... Or Not! :-) Anyway, many hours outside in the snow during the weekend was a great start of another week! :-)

When I came home Monday evening, it was so beautiful outside. It was snowing and everything was white! Amazing!

Week 4 - January is over!

Another week has passed :-) This weekend Vetle and Emil slept over (my nephew). Vetle and Lisa planned to sleep in Annas bed because she slept over at a friends house, but they did never fall asleep so we had to split them, and within 2 minutes both of them were snoring! :-)

In the morning they asked for pancakes, so we made a huge batter and made good pancakes as ordered! :-)

Can we lick from the batter aunt? Sure go ahead!

We also visited our grandmum/grand-grandmum, and took a trip downtown for cinema. Still a lot of snow! Here Lars is playing outside the cinema in the middle of the centre.

I had a nice conversation wih Ruth in Baku on Sunday, and when I said to Lisa that we were going to call them she said: "My Lauren" :-) And later she said "Jeg elsker Lauren" which means I love Lauren. So I just had to tape it! :-)

Still so much snow here that I do not feel for running, but I'll be back! :-)

Week 3 - Still cold, going skating :-)

The ice was great, very slippery so impossible for "Elvis" to join us on the ice. He was like "bambi on the ice" :-)

On Saturday we had some hours on the ice with Sveins brother and family. Olav, Lars's friend from class slept over from Friday to Saturday, and we had so much fun.

Another week has passed, trying to tidy a bit at home, and working on preparation and getting prices for the "new kitchen". Excercised 3 times this week, including Karate with Anna! :-)

Still detoxing - its hard, but I will continue all the way until I'm in Caribbean. Only 3 more weeks! :-)
