Going South :-)

After the race we drove 2 hours south to meet Sveins cusins with spouses. A fantastic small village with cozy houses and nice atmosphere. We stayed there until Sunday and had so much good food and drinks :-)

My first bike race! :-)

My new MTB is great. :-) I have biked over 1000 km already! :-) And we're only 5 months into 2011. I wonder were I stop? :-) A new race is coming up 11. June :-) Then its over 90 km. :-)

YES, I managed it! :-) My first race is over. We were 2 colleagues that joined the race. 56 km ups/downs and 2hours 37minutes. That means 21,36 km in average! :-) Quite proud about that to be my first race.

Thanks to Lene, mum and Alf for taking care of our "grumpy" kids while we had a "marathon weekend" at home! :-) They said they had a great weekend, they even got some fish! And thats a good sign. :-)

Week 17 - Back to business again :-)

We've had a great weekend, just like summer :-) Unfortunately I've been at work the whole weekend, only some hours home on Sunday :-) Luckily Anna and me had time to go to the Gardener shop to buy some flowers to decorate outside. So happy about the result :-) We have to paint some of the house this summer, but if the weather will be as great as today we will soon be finished! :-)

I'm preparing for one of my bike-race I'm attending next weekend, so hopefully it will goes well. 52 km. on the bike on Saturday! :-) Puhhh.... - And in June 92 km :-)

I still bike twice a week to work, and now I've soon reached 900 km. :-) I'm quite happy about that.

We also bougth this tree today. And we named it "The Kelly Tree" :-) This is was Anna's idea, because Kelly introduced us to the "Honey sucking flowers" :-) Just like this. We really look forward to the flowers arrives! :-)

I'll tell you - This was h.... of a car! :-) OMG!!! Cost a fortune and felt great! :-)

Sveins comment when I sent him the picture: "Please do not scratch the paint, because then we have to sell the house" :-) Its not every day I sit in a real Ferrari! :-)

Week 16 - Easter holiday :-)

Finally the Easter holiday came and we were able to get some days off. Heading off for the cabin on Wednesday noon. Unfortunately there was not enough snow left to go skiing, and all the snow on the terrace were melted away. One month before there was over 2 meters! :-) Amazing!

Anyway, even the snow was missing we had some great days :-) Emil (the kids cusin) was with us together with mum and Alf we were out nearly the hole time. The sun was shining from early morning until late evening. Can you imagine? Even in Norway! :-)
