Today it was Annas turn to get a new bike! :-)

We went to Sokn to buy a second hand DBS bike for her. She have got 2 new bikes before so this time we decided to by from someone else. The bike looks very nice, and it was same brand as she wanted just another color. And of course 1/4 of the price! :-) But in the end she was very happy too. A win/win situation for everyone! :-) She used her own savings, so she was so proud! :-)

Uke 27 - Cutting and fixing in the garden and inside....

After many days inside we decided to work outside on Saturday. A great sunny day! We worked 4 generations to complete the garden, even great grandmum helped! :-) Svein was so happy to start all his machines again! :-) Starting his chainsaw made him good! :-) And Sunday we removed everything we cutted, so now its looks very nice again. Our land is 1100 m2, so its quite big! :-) We bought some new flowers to put outside the door, and that made it cozy again.

Lisa was so happy when she found Lars's old tractor. She wanted to take Hola for a ride. Exactly as Colby has, she said! :-)
Everyone was happy to see Marte again, especially Lars.
Tussi, Emils cat get her Saturday snack. A cute kitten! :-)

Week 26 - Vienna here we come

We had 4 great days in Vienna on the way home. No shopping at all, just tourist attractions, quided tours and many many things. It was great to stop on the way home. Even we had toooooo much luggages! We had to pay 350 manat in overweight. This was a bargin, since the guy started with 27 kilo overweight and ended up for paying for 15 kilo. But it was expensive enough :-) We put nearly all the luggages on storage on the airport and picked it up on the way home again. Then we fixed a bit and put more in the hand-luggage, and suddenly she did not complain anymore and we did not have to pay anything. Puhh..... Hmm, If you knew that I should have done some shopping in Vienna..... Now it was tooooo late! :-)

Uke 25 - Leaving Party for us in Grand Park!

Karen, Kelly and Ruth organized the best party ever for us yesterday! :-) Amazing! and they manage to organize more than 19 families ++ to come and have a party for us in our compound. The theme was "Hawaii Hulahu" so everyone looked very exotic, especially Johnny, we really liked his outfit! :-) Thanks Johnny for putting so much efford in the costume, you looked absolutly great! :-)
There was homemade hamburgers and sausages with salads, coleslaw and a lot more. There were alot of muffins and berries. Really really tasteful! :-) And of course as much juice, mojito, coctails, beer and wine as you wanted to drink!

Can it be better? And for me it was too emotional, I cried and cried and it was impossible to keep the eyes dried when everyone wanted to say farewell and say so many nice words. I'm sorry for that! This is unfortuately heritable, poor Anna! :-)
As present we got a great scrapbook with pictures of many families and regards from many of our friends. We also got a big bucket full of Azerbaijan memories such as tea, wine, beer, hookah (sicha/vannpipe), carpet and many other nice things. And a glass with truffles! Jummy, we need to make something good with that! :-) Thank you very much to everyone! :-) We really really appreciated it.
Hope everyone enjoyed the party as much as we did. The limbo-dancing was a great success, and the pinjata as well. A bit anoying that Svein was better than me in limbo-lancing, even I have a Yoga body, according to Denise Austin! :-) hihi

Thanks again to everyone that have made our stay here in Baku so special. We will miss you all, hope to see you again sometime! LOL - "The Hellands" xxxx

Last playgroup for the "Butterflies" :-(

This week we had our last playgroup in our house. We decided to have lunch aswell, and everyone contributed with some food. We had a fun day! We will really miss these Thursdays when we move home to Norway again.
